In this class, we will create a small cortina (accordion) journal from simple rectangular pieces of paper. We will build and create our own little square journal… a space that is already imperfect and ready to play in, to express ourselves.

In this project we are creating a mixed media portrait. We are building a textured background, then we let a face emerge through layers, contrast, and proportion. No pressure, just presence, play, and flow.
